In our last book club meeting we discussed the book Sleeping with Strangers by Eric Jerome Dickey. To say the least, the book was a definite page turner. The plot, the story line, the SEX! Those scenes were hot enough to make Zane find a new profession!!! Gideon, the leading character is also the overall favorite amongst the ladies who attended the meeting. The ambiguity of the characters nationalities keeps the book interesting, never predictable, and leaves a trace of mystery about their origins. We had a wonderful discussion about the book, as well as other books in the series. I'm dying to read them all, and I have already started Waking with Enemies, the sequel to SWS. I also wanted to mention that the Twins did a fabulous job hosting as always. The lay out was exquisite, delicious. Thanks ladies for the warm hospitality... Eric Jerome Dickey has done it again!!!! Gideon, Gideon, Gideon...I dont know where to begin. This sophisticated gangsta with the swag of a pretty bog gentleman had me wishing I was in the room with him along with Lola and Mrs Jones. EJD had me hanging on for dear life trying to get to the ending of this book. Unfortunately, my sister and I let some of part two slip...but we only gave the ladies the appetizer...they must read Waking With Enemies to get the entree.....Read how steamy part two gets!!! If you are a nympho...please dont even attempt to read this book without purchasing a bullet and batteries...

ReplyDeleteI read Sleeping with Strangers based on a recommendation by LaTonya (Loved It). I just completed the Gideon series (4 books). I've become a true Eric Jerome Dickey fan. Gideon got skills and his supporting cast; Arizona, Scamz, Konstantin, Hawks my favorite (a simple but about the business type women)and Shot Gun the new comer to the game. They keep me wanting for more. I will be reading the rest of EJD's books! For sure....
